Why can’t I use the front camera to take a photo of a skin spot?
DermPro does not support using the front-facing camera to capture images of your skin spots. Our Smart Camera is designed to capture photos that meet the exact conditions required for our algorithm to provide an accurate risk assessment.
The quality of front cameras can vary, and photos taken this way often don't meet the standards required for reliable analysis. For this reason, all skin spot photos must be taken with the back camera.
If a spot is in a hard-to-reach area, consider asking a friend or family member to help take the photo.
If you have any questions or need assistance, our team is always here to help.
